allbery@uunet.UU.NET (Brandon S. Allbery - comp.sources.misc) (03/21/89)
Posting-number: Volume 6, Administrivia 4 Submitted-by: allbery@uunet.UU.NET ( comp.sources.misc) Archive-name: ljtest-query I have been sent a set of three uuencoded files. These files are intended to be printed on an HP LaserJet or "compatible" printer, to test how compatible the printer really is. (The author is Rick Richardson, rick@pcrat, the author of JetRoff.) The question is: should these postings be accepted as comp.sources.misc submissions? I'm aware of the usual response to uuencoded data postings in this group, but it seems to me that these files are likely to be useful enough to enough people to warrant their posting here. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, ++Your friendly neighborhood comp.sources.misc moderator -- Brandon S.
