I am seeking a job as a technical writer/procedures writer/publications coordinator. I prefer to stay in the San Diego area but will consider moving within California. I have an Associate degree in Technical Communications, with a Certificate in Computer Operations. EXPERIENCE: Revised/edited user manuals for computerized Naval communications systems; revised, edited and wrote procedures for serial bus analyzers, revised hardware manuals for same. Edited repair manuals for helicopters. Have worked with marketing, customer service and word processing personnel, artists, technicians, engineers and managers. Have several years experience in publications coordination. Familiar with UNIX and formatting documents using the -ms and -me macros on a VAX 11/750 computer system. Available mid-April.
