		COMMUNICATIONS PROGRAMMER

Communications Programmer with technical degree, 3-7 years of
experience, working knowledge of microprocessor hardware,
communications protocols and their implementation, e.g., airline
protocols, X.25, BSC, and IBM protocols.  Strong foundation in high
level software design/engineering on microprocessors in real-time
environment necessary.  Desire knowledge of ACP, airline reservation
systems, or banking ATM systems.  Desire experience in structured
programming, with C.  Will be responsible for design, coding, and
testing of microcomputer software.  Occasional installation and
on-site testing.  Excellent benefits.  Salary $30K-40K.

The Micro Design Center is a small group developing a product line of
8086-based communications processors for protocol converters, data
concentrators, and PADs.

****MAJOR COMMUNICATIONS COMPANY SEEKING A COMMUNICATIONS PROGRAMMER;

We want someone who knows Fortran (necessary) and Data General Assembler
(not necessary but a strong plus); communications experience also a plus; 
salary is up to high 20's (depending on experience); lower Manhattan location; 
good opportunity to learn communications programming;
experience with Honeywell equipment (Level 6) also a plus.
