We are looking for engineers to work in the exciting field of Computer Aided Design/Engineering of advanced (VLSI-based) circuits. We are developing a software system based on what is already available in industry and public domain with additions of our own where necessary. Current and on-going work is in VLSI full-custom, gate-array, and standard cell design automation. We are also beginning work in automation of system architecture design. Minimum requirements are: BS/BA in CS or EE with background in both software and hardware, Self-discipline and drive to work somewhat autonomously in a R&D environment, Willingness to continue learning in an ever-changing, and fast-growing field, US citizenship. We have a VAX 11/750 running 4.2bsd UNIX, several Mentor workstations, and access to a VAX 11/780 running 4.2bsd UNIX and a VAX 11/780 under VMS.
