Columbia University's Department of Computer Science seeks Software Engineers for an IBM 4381 system to be used in support of research projects in the department. Research projects include the design and construction of parallel machines, distributed computing and communication, vision, AI and theory. Qualified applicants should have BS/MS in CS/EE and 2 years of experience with IBM equipment. Familiarity with VM/CMS, STIPS, RSCS, VMIX, TCP/IP protocols a plus - Language familiarity should include PASCAL, LISP, PL1, APL and Fortran - hardware familiarity with 4381, 3380's, 3705, 7171, Series 1, 3274, PC/AT's, DACU and 5085's is desired.
