[comp.sources.amiga] INFO: vt100 2.8

ain@j.cc.purdue.edu (Patrick White) (03/02/88)

This a quick information notice about vt100 2.8 that we posted recently.

It seems that *unshar* can't deal with the shar properly -- it dosen't
remove the leading 'X' on each line. sh, however, has no problem with the
shar. The binaries are still retrievable but deleting the leading 'X' with
an editor before uudecoding (at least, it uudecodes to the correct number
of bytes).

I've fixed (reshar'ed) the copies in the archives, but I'm not going to
repost them since any editor will fix them, and sh still does them correct.
