The company has the following vacancies for technical staff: Post 1: Software Engineer An experienced programmer is sought to join a team working on porting Quintus Prolog to new machines and environments. Candidates should have experinece with C and Unix. An interest in Prolog would also be advantageous. Post 2: Software Engineer An experienced programmer is sought to join a team which is working on the extension and improvement of the Quintus Prolog system. Candidates should be familiar with Prolog, C and Unix, and should be experienced, or interested, in building advanced programming environments. Post 3: Technical Writer/Software Engineer We seek a Prolog programmer who has an interest in producing high quality technical documentation. The work of this person would be divided between documentation and programming. Programming work could be in any of the following areas: extensions to the Prolog system, Prolog utility programs, demonstration programs. Post 4: Senior Software Engineer The candidate must have detailed experience of relational database implementation, and should also have good general knowledge of current commercial relational database systems. Familarity with, or interest in, Prolog would be desirable. This person would lead a team working on incorporating database technology in Quintus products.
