UniSoft Systems of Berkeley, California is looking for qualified Unix programmers. We currently have openings in the following areas: porting programmer: Should have some knowledge of Unix internals with device driver experience. Responsibilities include porting our UniPlus+ V.2 kernel to new architectures (including 68020 based systems) and adding proprietary features and enhancements to our system. communications engineer: Should have knowledge of Unix internals AND familiarity with IBM protocols (SNA 3270/3770). Responsibilities include porting our SNA packages onto new systems and assisting in the development of UniSoft's communication strategies. guru: Consultant to porting programmers. Should know all aspects of unix organization, both kernel and utilities. Must have good debug capabilities, enjoy jumping around from problem to problem, and be able to convey (teach) this knowledge to porting programmers. Responsibilities include coordinating new feature development and addition to the UniPlus+ product line. UniSoft will have a booth at Usenix in Portland.
