Ph.D. Expected Date : August 1985. University of Louisville.
Received a University Fellowship Grant - Awarded on the
        basis of academic excellence. 1981-85.
        Current GPA : 3.82/4.0.
Doctoral Dissertation : "Implementation of 'Dynamic Matrix Control'
                                 strategy on a distillation column."

The objective of this research is to successfully implement DMC on an
experimental distillation unit and to develop a procedure to obtain
the various tuning parameters embedded in the design of this strategy.
The ability of this technique to control highly interactive multivari-
able processes and its ability to handle constraints is studied.

M.S. May 1983. University of Louisville.
        GPA: 3.89/4.0
M.S. Thesis : "Computer simulation of 'Dynamic Matrix Control'
                                                        algorithm."

The performance of DMC algorithm for control of single and multivari-
able systems is evaluated using computer simulation. The ability of
the algorithm in handling processes with dead-time and other unusual
dynamic behaviour is also studied.

B.Tech. May 1981. Department of Chemical Engineering, REC, Trichy,
        University of Madras, India.
        GPA : 81% ( 75% - First Class with Distinction )
Project Work: "Manufacture of Poly-Vinyl Chloride."
