I was amazed to see a couple of discussions of
the TechNica program recently on net.jobs.
I have one addendum to make to those discussions:
I first saw a notice for TechNica in the Classifieds
section of the weekly news/commentary magazine 'The
Nation'. I suggest that progressive technical people
check out recent issues of The Nation for more
info on TechNica and various other related volunteer
programs ( Net conservatives: this doesn't apply just
to countries under the sway of the Evil Empire!)
that anybody can get involved in.
