Wrote firmware and test software for the multiplexer . . . Designed and implemented a communication protocol between the multiplexer and master cpu -- Designed digital and analog interface circutry and software for a test system that is used for the characterization of thin film magnetic materials on rigid disks, and used to characterize the different recording properties of combinations of disks and heads . . . Software was written in Basic on a Hp 9836 workstation . . . Instruments were controlled via the GPIB and GPIO interface busses (Hewlett-Packard January 1983 to 1985) LEAD TECHNICIAN -- Supervised a group of technicians who were responsible for repairing and maintaining in-house S-100 computer systems . . . Generated engineering changes for hardware and software bugs (Cromemco 1982) ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN -- Designed hardware and software for a low cost signature analysis test system that utilized a Z-80 based controller . . . Wrote HPL and Basic programs for a test system that utilized Hp instruments . . . Coordinated and setup a R & D lab for five people . . . Responsible for maintaining two in-house telecommunication systems (Bell Northern Research 1981 to 1982) ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN -- I was involved with speech synthesis research . . . The synthesizer utilized Intel's 2920 processor and a Z-80 controller (Intel Corporation 1979-1981) RELATED EXPERIENCE Currently working on a new design for a high end audio preamp and power amp . Designed and developed a speech synthesizer for a new venture company (1980- 1983) . . . Designed a music synthesizer using the Z-80 as a controller . . .
