compiler writer.
If you have extensive background in writing quailty compilers and look
forward to working in a technically progressive company where you can

MIPS is a start-up company dedicated to developing a high speed RISC computer
that will be implemented in custom silcon and supported by a suite of
optimizing compilers and a well-tuned UNIX operating system. The company
has funding to develop the product and an impressive staff of experienced
hardware and software engineers to carry out the development.
You will be expected to be knowledgeable in all aspects of compiler writing.
Experience in optimization, architecture, benchmarking and measurement are
desirable. Your assignments will span from architectural analysis to direct
programming. You should feel comfortable working in C and Pascal and
like working in a team environment. You will probably have an advanced
degree and you will certainly have a strong record of accomplishment.
