[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] computer protocols --TCP/IP and SLIP

nar@wvucsb.UUCP (Narendar Reddy) (10/20/87)

Does any one know if there is any TCP/IP along with SLIP running under
Unix System V Revision 3.1. These are available under 4.3 bsd unix,
but i am having hard time to find one which runs under Unix System V.
I would very much appreciate if any one can give me some information
such that we can buy it.

TCP/IP should run on AT&T 3b2/400s and talk to VAX/750 through serial
line interface. Two AT&T 3b2/400s are connected by 3bnet kit similar
to ethernet kit.

Thanks in advance.

I'll second that. We have a port of Sys V (by Microport) running on an AT
clone. It wants very much to run TCP and SLIP, as it serves a bunch of
amateur packet radio hackers (who are getting into TCP/IP). Anyone know
where to go for info?

I'll write the dern thing if I have to (grumble, grumble). But it would be
nice not to.
