ARPANET PSN 7.0 BETA TEST SCHEDULE
The following is the current schedule for the new End-to-End cutover for
all ARPANET nodes. This schedule has been approved by DCA and DARPA.
It is requested that host administrators be aware of this test, but
not take action to reduce traffic load during testing.
All ARPANET nodes will be running PSN 7.0 on the following dates and
times:
Date Time
7 NOV 87 8:00-5:00 (EST)
14 NOV **thru** 15 NOV 8:00-5:00 (EST)
18 NOV 1:00-4:00 (EST)
Hosts experiencing problems are asked to call the ARPANET Monitoring
Center at (617) 873-3571/3070 or (800) 492-4992. Only by your
notification can we know that you are encountering problems. Please
call.
There will be a follow-up meeting to discuss the status of the ARPANET
beta testing of the new End-to-End protocols on November 20, 10:30 am
at the Washington Building, Room 201, 7600 Old Springhouse Road,
McLean, VA.
