Entry Systems Operation
Duties: Software Development Engineer
Major responsibilities may include (depending on the person):
1. Design and implementation of enhancements to the Unix kernel for increased
functionality, reliability, or useability.
2. Design and implementation of i/o drivers, peripheral processor control, or
associated task control.
3. Work in the area of graphics with BitBlt raster ops coding and optimizing.
4. Develop extensions to Unix for use by an enhanced window interactive
oriented user environment.
Qualifications:
Your background should include a BSCS/MSCS or BS/MS Engineering with
a software emphasis. Knowledge of Unix internals is desirable. Other
knowledge of real-time, multitasking operating systems is a strong
plus. Motivation and interest are valued above either.
