[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] SLIP for CMU/TEK package?

mcdermot@merlin.unm.edu (John McDermott) (12/17/87)

Has anyone built SLIP for CMU/TEK tcp/ip? It would be a real easy way to
route over a decnet link (by using DECNET's remote terminal stuff). It would
also be nice for use the "normal" way.
Any pointers would be nice. Thanks!

Look at the SLIP package done at UC Davis. It does more than what
you want it to do, and probably not in the way you want it done, but should
be real easy to change. ( All the slip parts are there, but it has extra
functionality. )

You can use anonymous ftp from ucdavis.edu and then look under dist/slip

There was a mail message to this group dated Nov 25 and this subject.
If you can't find it and want it, send e-mail and I ship it to you.
