[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] SLIP on Annex Box

km@emory.uucp (Ken Mandelberg) (01/22/88)

Does anyone know if the Annex Box does SLIP? I guess it could do it
completely in the box which would seem ideal. Alternately it could let
one of the Unix hosts treat the connection like a tty and handle the
substance.

I know that Proteon rebundles the Annex server and resells it themselves.
They've done a lot with SLIP, so they would be a reasonable place to ask.
(Jon, are you out there?)
