The final draft of the AF LAN Interface/Security Module Equipment Performance Specification is out for review. As before, the document is contained in the file [LAN-EPS]LAN.EPS.1 on the Gunter-Adam.ARPA. You can either log into the account and use kermit or modem to download the file or you can FTP it to your host. Again, the account is LAN-EPS and the password is LAN-EPS. You can address any comments to LAN-EPS@GUNTER-ADAM.ARPA. If you have anything you do not wish to share with the rest of the community, please address them to LINK@GUNTER-ADAM.ARPA. In either case, I will promptly respond with the disposition of your comments. Of specific interest are the technical issues of using Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) MS-DOS software across a LAN and the implementation of the security controls. Any insights on either portion of the acquisistion are welcomed. Will it, as proposed, fit your needs?
