1. RFCs are at SRI-NIC. You can use anonymous login with
password guest and FTP from the <NIC> directory. 

2. old articles - if you mean published ones, the NCSU computer
science library, if you have one, should have journal and proceedings.

Vint,

The RFCs are now kept in their own directory <RFC> and a person can
get them by either one of two forms:

a) RFC:RFCnnn.TXT
b) <RFC>RFCnnn.TXT

Where "nnn" is the number of the RFC that you are trying to get
(they now go up to four digits long).

We think the first way is easier to remember.
