[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] TCP/IP Support for VRTX Operating System

beh@MONK.PROTEON.COM (Brian Hackley) (02/06/88)

HELP! One of our customers has been asking for support of TCP/IP under the VRTX Operating System (A modular operating system for VME/68020 systems). If you know of a source for TCP/IP under VRTX, please respond as soon as you can.

Also, anyone hear of an outfit in Edinburgh, Scotland called Spider Systems?

Spider Systems has been around a while, but I don't know exactly how
long. Products that I know they offer include a Sys V Streams TCP/IP
in source form, the "SpiderMonitor", a hardware-based Ethernet analyzer
which is (or at least was) sold in the US by CMC, and a version of our
TCP/IP for the IBM PC. I believe they have also done contract development
of code in the U.K. and Europe.

Their address is:

Spider Systems
65 Bonnington Rd.
Edinburgh EH6 5JQ

tel: 031-554 9197

I believe they also can be reached via UUCP as ...mcvax!spider!...
