years of high technology expertise. Astronautics Technology Center
(ATC), ACA's research and development facility, is currently expanding
the corporation's technology base into the areas of high-efficiency
magnetic refrigeration, high performance computer development, space
systems, weather radar systems and other targets of opportunity.
Immediate openings exist in the magnetic refrigeration group, in the
     following areas:

         1. Numerical Modeling Specialist -- Mathematical model-
ing of new cryogenic refrigerator concepts and analysis of ac-
tual prototypes will be required, also interfacing with en-
gineers and scientists on design and operation of working pro-
totypes. Related areas are numerical fluid dynamics, heat
transfer and thermal analysis, magnetic field and force calcu-
lation, mechanical stress analysis and thermodynamic opera-
tional analysis. Experience with general systems analysis
highly desirable. PhD or Masters degree in applied mathemat-
ics, applied physics, computer science or mechanical enginer-
ing and relevant experience is required. Resumes for this po-
sition will be accepted until October 15, 1985.

         2. New Refrigerator Design -- part of a small team
developing a new type of efficient refrigerator for cryogenic
applications. Relevant experience in thermal, mechanical and
magnetic systems analysis highly desirable. BSME or BS-
Physics with at least two years of relevant experience re-
