[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] Kinetic FastPath

Could someone please post or send me a synopsis of the capabilities of
the Kinetics FastPath box and any equivalent systems in terms of:

1) connecting AppleTalk networks together - performance, addressing, 
   special user knowledge and software considerations, etc.

2) using TCP-IP services from MACs - performance, addressing, special
    user knowledge, etc.

By addressing, I am refering to 'how do I call a MAC on another net through
the box' and whether or not each MAC requires an IP address, etc.

Any info you may have would be appreciated. I'd like a user's opinion rather
than a vendors.  Thanks in advance.
