[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] Campus Network Query

greg@muddy.cs.unlv.edu (Greg Wohletz) (04/30/88)

I am interested in hearing any comments people might have on campus
wide networks; experiences with particular types of networks, and the
companies that provide them. I'll post a summary if there is
sufficient interest.

Greg, There is excellent brand new book on thart subject. It is called
"Campus Networking Strategies", Caroline Arms, Editor. It is "sponsored" by EDUCOM, published by Digital Press, ISBN 1-55558-009-2, Order No. EY-6736E-DP.

It is a collection of description sof the campus networks and how they came to
be. All written by knowledgable people. The campuses included are:
Wesleyan, Dartmouth, CMU, Rensselaer, MIT, Stanford, Cornell,
Michigan, Minnesota and Penn State.

Dan,

That sounds like a fantastically useful book. Do you have information on
publisher or ISBN?
