[net.jobs] NO Re:'s IN NET.JOB!!!

ray@othervax.UUCP (Raymond D. Dunn) (09/16/85)

PLEASE!!! Is no net category safe??

Net.followup if you MUST, but at least let's leave this group
free of the "yes it is", "no it isn't" squabbles which pass as
discussions on the rest of the net (or will somebody now start
canvassing for a net.jobs.d group)!

Sigh!

     I couldn't help it.

I find discussions of careers, employers and experiences in the
electronics industry to be very rewarding. Earlier this year
I posted two general questions to this newsgroup, regarding finding
an entry-level job and about EDS, and I received many excellent
and useful replies. I would like to see a net.jobs.d.
However, I completely agree with you about the "yes it is",
"no it isn't" squabbles. Hence I ended my two requests with
"Please reply directly to me, I will summarize; do not post
to net.jobs." It worked, not a single reply cluttered up
net.jobs.

P.S. I was going to mail this directly to you but I couldn't
resist the "Subject" heading on this one :-)!
