Has anyone compared the character based tcp/ip vs the streams based tcp/ip for UNIX. Does one out perform the other? Is one larger than the other? Thanks for your comments and responses in advance.

We have seen a 40% increase in performance on our streams based tcp/ip over our character based tcp/ip. The size I don't have the information about the size of our character product handy, but our streams product kernel is approx 70k. Hope this is useful.
