[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] Micom-Interlan NP100 ethernet woes

chris@GYRE.UMD.EDU (Chris Torek) (08/05/88)

The NP100 driver included in 4.3BSD (presumably written by or for
Interlan; at any rate, it was not done at Berkeley) is egregiously
buggy. A later revision of the driver (done after Berkeley got an
NP100) is available from Berkeley, either as part of 4.3BSD-tahoe or
separately. Contact Keith Bostic <bostic@okeeffe.berkeley.edu> if you
need just the driver.

Substantial changes have been made to the Interlan np100
driver that was distributed with 4.3BSD. If anyone is
attempting to use this driver, please contact me for a
new copy.
