We are developing a system that uses Wollongong's TCP on Hyperchannel that needs to do many large file transfers. The hardware is VAX, running VMS. Has anyone experimented with tuning either the driver to Hyperchannel, TCP parameters, VMS parameters, ... to speed things up? Initial tests indicate that the TCP-to-Hyperchannel is the limiting factor. We're only interested in file transfers, so only FTP performance is an issue. Any and all sage advice welcome. Seeing as this may be esoteric, please respond directly (Fitch -at Dockmaster.arpa) and I'll summarize if it ends up looking interesting. Thanks. --Jack
