[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] TCP/IP over DECnet ?

whwb@cgchb1.uucp (Hans W. Barz) (10/03/88)

IBM has announced their MVS product for TCP/IP with the feature to run it over
SNA. IBM's product for VM has this ability already. Is their a product around
(or planned), which can do the same over DECnet? I know that I can run DECnet
and TCP/IP over the same Ethernet, but DECnet includes many different trans-
mission media.

Hans,

Contact Ken Adelman (KEN@WARBUCKS.AI.SRI.COM). He has written a TCP/IP
over DECnet program. This works in conjunction with SRI's Multinet TCP/IP
I believe..

Sure call up The Wollongong Group. They call it dbridge. We used
it for a while, but then we just got our routers to do both TCP/IP
and DECNET.
