[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] appropriate punishment for Robert Morris

>How about 8000 hours of time working for GNU? Hacker public service!
>If GNU will not take him, then perhaps Berekely (sp?).

	( sp ) alright! it's spelled Bezerkely.

8000 of gnu work wouldn't be punishment at all.

if the objective is to punish -- Morris should be
sentenced to 8000 hours on an ibm PC with MS DOS 3.1,
	and no network.

of course, at the end of the 8000 hours, Morris (the cat)
could end up producing a virus that could chow up every
MSDOS ibmclone computer from here to Vladivostok.

how's that for public service !?
