We would need all comments and appreciations on Ethernet Analysers.
We would like to monitor, debug, quantify and trace traffic on Ethernet,
using TCP/UDP-IP, DECNet, XNS & other to come.
Full capture ability is a must (10 MHz cable, with packets as close as
a Sun can provide...)
Ease of programming is of some concern.

Current known products: Micom-Interlan, Sniffer (Ungermann Bass ?),
Excelan & HP (The last one is the only one speciallized instrument, all
other are PC-AT cards and software)

Comments on the use of a Compaq 386 for above use, if not the HP solution,
most welcomme. (Compaq 386s, Portable, 386e ???)
