Folks, Here is a summary of my query re. IP for the Mac. 1. Apple will be releasing a TCP/IP driver package in January (now in beta) that should be accessable via system traps. 2. Kinetics is shipping a product called "TCPort" that is a toolkit for writing TCP and IP applications. It's based on the Umich TCP/IP code (see below). 3. Umich has developed a set of TCP, IP, and UDP drivers, plus a few other goodies (e.g. nameserver access). They're available via anonymous FTP to citi.umich.edu, and live in the directory citi-macip/release2.0B2. Note: these are huge files (several megs) that must be decompressed(!) into even huger files using a special program that also lives in that directory. The README file gives details. You need MPW to use this stuff. Miles
