[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] callable ftp library

TKSJMI@UBVM.CC.BUFFALO.EDU (JoAnn) (11/12/88)

Hi - a user on campus runs Process Software's tcpip for RT-11.

It comes with a library that, via fortran calls, allows a user to
perform ftp commands thru library calls. So thru FTPINI,FTPGET, FTPPUT,
etc. he can program a ftp session.

Is there a similiar library available for other tcpip implementations?

We run WIN/TCP 3.2 on VMS, BSD 4.3 Unix and IBM TCPIP vers 1.1 on CMS.

 thanks in advance,
 JoAnn

Having just snarfed the pcip package from MIT and CMU I noticed
the obvious lack of an ftp package. There is a tftp application
but it doesn't include the init functionality. If anyone has
a PD implimentation which uses the pcip libraries or knows of the
location of same, please send me mail.
