[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] A supdup client for X Windows?

rsm@amethyst.ma.arizona.edu (Robert Maier) (11/16/88)

Has anyone written a supdup client that (1) supports graphics and (2)
runs under X Windows?

For those who may not be familiar with it, supdup is a much improved
version of telnet: its wire protocol is terminal-independent, and it
provides a virtual terminal substantially more powerful than the
line-oriented glass TTY that telnet supplies.

I have seen various public-domain supdups written at MIT, but none
that runs under X. Any suggestions as to where to look?

How can I get and use supdups (original version, not on X, of course)?
Please show me the pointer to it. Thank you.
