The high volume of traffic on TCP-IP has made timely delivery of messages very difficult for the NIC's mailer. To try to improve response time, I am considering offering a digestified version of TCP-IP which would go out once or twice a day. If you are interested in getting TCP-IP this way, let me know (please do NOT respond to the whole list). I am only interested in responses from people who are currently receiving direct subscriptions (so if you're reading this on a BBOARD don't respond) since my goal is to substantially reduce the number of entries on the direct-mail list.
