2/83 to Currently task leader for all Analog Fiber Optic Rotation
PRESENT Sensors projects. This includes heading up two CRAD gyro
development programs and a proposal effort totaling $150K.
Completed two CRAD gyro development projects that resulted
in deliverable prototype gyros. Developed cost projections
and feasability studies for future sensor packages.
Experienced in development, fabrication, and performance
testing of fiber optic sensors. Extensive hands-on
experience with "state of the art" singlemode fiber optic
components and assembly techniques. Trained and supervised
technicians in the new assembly methods. Other duties include
breadboard design and evaluation of new gyro concepts,
electronic and optical hardware buildup, environmental
testing, component specification and purchase.
