[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] VAX DECNET & Unix-pc TCP/IP question

brian@apt.UUCP (Brian Litzinger) (12/12/88)

I am looking into the possibility of using a VAX 8530
as a file server for a bunch of unix-pc machines. I
am currently hoping that some sort of NFS mechanism
may exist somewhere to allow the VAX to be an NFS
server.

The VAX systems consists of a VAX 8530, 64MB Memory, 2.5GB Mass
Storage, running VMS 4.6 & VAX DECNET.

If you know of a solution for this problem, or a direction
for me to proceed I would appreciate your email'ing me
the information.

Thanks in advance,
