LANL cannot establish communication with ARPANET hosts through the
various "Mail Bridges". DCA can reset our IMP, connections can be
established, mail flows... Then, some hours, later the pipes are
klogged again. It happens gradually. This has been going on since the
switch to the new PSN 7.0 IMP software. Are we the only MILNET host
that is having this problem? ITS NOT EGP! Are there any hotshots out
there that know how and where to look for what's wrong? Is this a know
problem that someone is working on? Just what were the changes to the
IMP's, what was the purpose?
Are there some tools available to us (to run on 43BSD VAX) to psych this
problem out. God I hope I haven't taken too long to compose this.
