[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] Interactive rsh

*It seems like a stupid thing to do, but for naive and non-technical users,
*it could be a life-saver. All I want to do is bring the power of another
*computer, easily to some users on their local machines. I guess I'm trying
*to "hide" the network from them.

*Is this unreasonable to ask? Has this been done? Is there a better way?

how about something like the X window system? this allows you to access
the resources of other machines, and will give you a window interface
which your users may find easier to deal with (so i am told, i am not sure
i believe it).
