The New York University Computer Science Dept. is developing software
for the automated analysis of narrative messages describing equipment
failures.  This research combines an extension of our prior work on
text analysis with the detailed modelling of physical systems.  Work
will be done on Symbolics LISP Machines and VAXen.  We have an
immediate opening for a programmer with LISP experience to join our
