[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] ATT 3b2/400 and TCP/IP

mhampson@wpi.edu (Mark A. Hampson) (02/02/89)

We have recently implimented a campus-wide TCP-IP network and have
several AT&T 3B2/400 machines running S5. These machines each have
a transever port. Currently we have software to impliment '3BNET'.
(Yes, the inventors of UNIX did not include any TCP-IP support).

I am wondering if anyone has heard of any TCP-IP software for this
machine.

The Wollongong Group does TCP/IP products for 3B2s running SysV.
We're running it under SysVRel3.[02].

To clarify the note from Karl Kleinpaste (of Ohio State?):

1. WIN/TCP for 3b is produced by Wollongong, but is marketed and supported
by AT+T.

2. A new release of the software, for SVR3.2, was just delivered to AT+T.
