I would like to rip out the networking software that comes with SUNOS 3.5 (for which I do not have source), and replace it with the networking software from 4.3 BSD (for which I do have source). Does anyone have experience with doing this? Are you willing to share with me how tough it was, and what problems you ran into, if any? Please reply directly to me; I will summarize if enough people express interest in seeing the result of this enquiry.
