Gee wiz! Joe Peck of HP Telecommunications goes to Uniforum and discovers that
his own product is useful in debugging a network. How thrilling!  Finally a
TCP/IP decoder is available and it amazes the very designers of the product.
James Van B. of FTP spends valuable net time touting his own product, admitting
its limited 254 packet buffer but stand by-- he's already working on another 
release.

This sort of crass self promotion should stop. If Mr. Peck wants to respond
to a query about how PING works and can be used, great. His blatant ad for
the "born again" HP4972A should be banned from the net.

My goodness Harry, lighten up; I thought Joe Peck's note was brief
