Northern Arizona University, College of Engineering & Technology
has several tenure track openings at the Assistant or Associate
Professor level in the Computer Science area.

NAU is located in alpine north central Arizona at an elevation
of 7,000 feet and boasts the cleanest air in the nation.  Flagstaff,
with a population of 40,000 has in the immediate area the finest
outdoor activities including hiking, snow skiing, hunting and
fishing.  Nearby are some of the most spectacular sights in the
world - Grand Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon, and Walnut Canyon.  The
College of Engineering and Technology, with an enrollment of 1,200
and a faculty of 32, offers ABET accredited undergraduate programs
in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, and Civil,
Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Technology, as well as
Computer Science and Engineering.  The University has 9 colleges
with an overall enrollment of 12,000.

Openings are in hardware and software.  The successful hardware
applicants will teach courses in digital design, computer
architecture, computer control, and microprocessors.  The
successful software applicants will teach courses in introduction
to programming, structured programming, data structures, and other
software topics.

A doctorate degree is required for the assistant or associate rank.
A master's degree will be considered for an instructor (non-tenured)
appointment.
