Are there any pop (post office protocol) implementations for VAXs and SUNs? Thanks, Ron Stanonik stanonik@nprdc.arpa

> Are there any pop (post office protocol) implementations > for VAXs and SUNs? We have a full implementation of pop2 service here running on both VAXen and SUNs. If there is interest, I'll stick it in a public FTP directory so you can grab it. --Ron ron@nosc.mil

Hi. I'll express interest in a pop2 implementation. We're busy considering how best to send all mail here to frob@nas.nasa.gov, and that might be a useful way. john

You might also consider looking at the POP implementation (client and server) in MH. It was done at roughly the same time as the POP2 specification, but for reasons not worth going into, never got issued as an official rfc. The Stanford mailsystem for the PC uses this POP to great advantage. /mtr

Hi - I'm just starting to learn about networking and this is the first time that I've been on this notesfile. I've done a lot of reading on TCP-IP. I am now interested in learning more about POP (Post Office Protocol). If anyone has any info/references on this, then please email to: --- Rohit Gupta Internet: gupta%uxe.cso.uiuc.edu@uxc.cso.uiuc.edu P. O.
