The Department of Computing and Information Sciences at Oklahoma State University invites applications for anticipated tenure track positions at the Assistant Professor level and non-tenure track positions at the Lecturer and Visiting Assistant Professor level. Visiting Assistant Professor candidates should have a Ph.D. in Computing Science or a related field. Candidates with expertise in any area will be considered, although preference will be given to those candidates who will make the greatest contributions to the department's research programs. Lecturer candidates should have an M.S. in Computing Science and be progressing toward a Ph.D. Duties as a lecturer include substantial classroom teaching. Current hardware support for Computing and Information Sciences Faculty includes an IBM 3081(K) and a VAX 11/780 in the University Computer Center, a Concurrent (Perkin-Elmer) 3230 as well as eleven super-micro computers (AT&T 3B2, Intel 310/286, etc.) in the department.
