[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] Micom NTS/TCP V3.0

I have just got hold of V3.0 of NTS/TCP to run on Micom NTS100, this
is supposed to cure a bug that crashes the server with NTS/TCP V2.0.
When the terminal server is configured with the ports as Slave, (which we
use to connect to non-TCP/IP hosts), it becomes very fussy about what hosts
can connect to it properly. It works with an HP 9000/350 and an Apollo DN570
and other Micom NTS100s.
It has stopped working with the IBM VM/CMS (5798-FAL) and PCs with various
ethernet cards (Software PC/TCP from FTP Inc.)
I have connected a loopback connector and monitor to one port on the server
and connected to it from various hosts. I also had an ethernet monitor running.
When I type I expect the characters to be echoed back. From all hosts the
correct characters arrive at the port and are echoed correctly, but on
the PCs and IBM the packet sent from the server dosn't contain the character
that was sent.
Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone thing of anything to solve the
problem?
