[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] IP addresses on multiple interfaces

I have a question regarding the Berkeley networking code.
If a host has multiple interfaces (each with its own IP address), is the
IP address in the source field always that of the interface, if the
data originated on that host. Consider a host with two interfaces
en0 and en1. Interface en0 has an address of 134.22.80.6, interface
en1 has an address of 134.22.32.1, both having netmasks of 255.255.240.0.
If someone TELNETs out of the host to an address on the 134.22.32.xxx subnet,
will the source address be 134.22.32.1, or 134.22.80.6 (address of the first
  interface configured)?
Inquiring minds want to know.
