Developed tools in 'C' language for UNIX 4.2 sys-
tem on a - NS32016 - based Workstation. Designed
'Scripts' to Test & Release utilities and tools
for ENCORE's UMAX 4.2 - NS32032 - based MULTIMAX
multi-processor system. Developed tools and aids
for Software Release Engineering & Control. The
UNIX port was done on a VAX-11/785 running UNIX -

Senior Software Engineer.(5/72 to 9/75)
Designed, developed and tested scientific packages
in MACRO-11 for on-line, real-time application on
the PDP-11 family of computers. These packages
were accessible from Higher Level Languages like
BASIC, FORTRAN. Also developed graphics package
for the VT52 Video Display Terminal for business
applications.
Project Leader UNICHANNEL-15.
Designed, developed, tested and installed the Real
Time cum Batch Executive system written in MACRO-
11 for a Dual-Processor system comprising of a

PDP-15(18 bit) and PDP-11(16 bit) computer. The
system contained a Hardware Multiplexer, Interrupt
Link and High Density Cartridge. The resident OS
on the PDP-11 contained peripheral interface
handlers, Spooler & Cross Assembler for the sys-
tem.
Maintained the Disk Operating System(DOS) and the
Batch Operating Software System(BOSS) made up of
resident and non-resident Monitor, Bootstrap, Dev-
ice and Interrupt Handlers, Loader, Editor, Patch-
er, System Generator,Compilers etc. coded in
MACRO-15.

Research Associate.(9/70 to 5/72)
Designed, developed and tested a Hardware inter-
face for a TV camera and PDP-15 computer. The
Hardware consisted of a Scanner, Digitizer and
Controller. It was utilized primarily for pattern
recognition.
Member of the team that developed a pseudo-FORTRAN
compiler SBFORT in PL/1 language for the IBM-1800
based CAI system.
Designed, developed and tested a modular Real Time
Digital Machine for studying the stimulus response
of subjects in Psychology experiments using DIGI-
TAL flip-chip modules.
Leader of the team that conducted a simulation
study in SIMSCRIPT on the IBM-360/MFT system to
determine cause for the large turn around time for
jobs.
