Hi there, I was looking for the source file of bftp- background ftp- which I believe allows the user to do 'other things' while files are being ftp'ed over. Could someone email me the file or tell me where it is available. Thanks in advance Roy George -- ***************************************************************************** * Roy George | INTERNET & BITNET : george@rex.cs.tulane.edu * * Tulane University, LA | USENET :{{ames, bionet}!}rex!george * *****************************************************************************

The latest version of the source for BFTP, "BFTP.201.tar.X", is available via anonymous FTP from venera.isi.edu, in the "pub/" directory. (The version may change from time to time.) In addition RFC 1068, which provides a more complete description of BFTP, is available from the SRI-NIC, via mail or FTP. --Annette
