About two weeks ago I posted a query as to the "best" TCP/IP implementation to use on a VAX 6320. I failed to mention that we would be running VMS. As promised, here is the summary of the replies I received. Thanks very much to all responders; you have given us some very useful information, as although we have not made our decision yet, I feel that we have enough information to make a sensible decision... The top vendors of choice here look like Wollongong and TGV. I received a roughly one-for-one recommendation between these two vendor's products (WIN/TCP and MultiNet, respectively). I also had a few plugs for Fusion, Process and Ultrix. As I'm not sure of the correct "netiqette" for posting summaries, I will stop there. Anyone interested in more detail should send me mail, and I will gladly send them more of the details. Anyone who can give me some guidelines for the *correct* way to post a summary, please do so! If I missed the boat totally, I could be talked into a better (read longer) summary... Hope this helps Rick Kruse University of Tulsa
